TRADE MISSION WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS

We invite Illinois’ small businesses to join the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s Office of Trade and Investment and the U.S. Commercial Service on a Multi-sector Virtual Trade Mission to India July 27-28, 2021 from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM CDT each day.

As one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing countries, India offers enormous opportunities for U.S. exporters. Success in this vast, diverse market requires long-term planning and a state-by-state strategy to adapt to the complexities and diversity of the market. Despite its challenges, India is a high-performance economy offering many possibilities to Illinois companies.

Strategic sectors include aerospace & defense, information, and communication technologies, energy, healthcare, environmental technologies, and education, with additional opportunities in consumer goods, automotive, financial services, and manufacturing equipment. Illinois ranks 10th among the 50 states in exports to India, with total exports of $695 million in 2019.
