The Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) provides a nomenclature that assigns a number to a product or product type, duty rate, and some but not all import regulations. Our program sets forth to guide the importer on how to use the resources available to research import tariffs and regulations. This program is for the beginner that wants to start at the ground level building their knowledge about import tariffs and regulations. If you are new to the position, new to importing/exporting, or need to review your current tariff list, this course is for you. The HTSUS has been rapidly changing in the last three years, navigating the systems has gone from something you may be able to figure out on your own, to almost impossible to find specific data if you were not directed to the information.
