Lockdown 4.0

In lockdown 4.0 central govt has decided to give the right to decide the zones to the state governments. Now the state govt will decide the zones respective to the number of COVID-19 positive cases. Unlike Lockdown 3.0 there will be 5 zones in Lockdown 4.0: Green, Orange, Red, Buffer, Containment. There is so much ease given in this term of lockdown.

Here’s a list of what’s allowed and what’s not during Lockdown 4.0.

Relaxation related to transport, good & cargoes:

  1. Inter-State and Intra-State movement of all trucks and other goods carrier vehicles will be allowed with one driver and one other person alongside as long as the driver carries a valid driving license. Both the essential and non-essential goods will be allowed without any further approval.
  2. Empty truck goods carriers should also be allowed while they are going to pick up or returning back after delivery. Hence there is no cause to stop empty trucks as long as they have valid documents such as driving license and valid road permit.
  3. Local authorities should make an active process for the movement of truck drivers and cleaners from their place of residence to the location of their trucks.
