President Trump recently signed an executive order suspending the previous Hong Kong Policy Act of 1992. The act provided that products manufactured and imported from Hong Kong could be marked to indicate “Hong Kong” as their country of origin. Products imported from Hong Kong must now be marked to indicate “China”.
